This elegant vintage glass carafe, found in a Swedish boutique, evokes a light breeze with its unique design. Accompanied by ceramics by Minoru Omine, the harmony of colors sublimates each ingredient. Scandinavian cups and a manual coffee grinder add a touch of ritual to each cup of coffee. Finally, ceramic pieces by artist Masanobu Ando adorn the wall and can also accommodate delicate sweets, bringing warmth and art to the home.

Staub’s enameled cast iron mini cocottes are beloved for their elegant design and versatility in the kitchen. Ideal for serving individual portions, they lend themselves perfectly to a refined presentation, such as for an avocado puree. To complete the look, rabbit-themed cutlery adds a playful and unique touch, found in a vintage shop.
The stainless steel bowl from the “Labase” series, created by Yoko Arimoto in partnership with a manufacturer from Tsubame, Niigata, stands out for its practicality: with no nooks and crannies for dirt and easy to clean, it is perfect for everyday use. On the table, the wooden tray by Ryuji Mitani brings a warm and elegant touch. Ideal for large salads, it welcomes your dishes in style, especially at receptions where every detail counts.
The pots, available in various materials such as cast iron, clay or stainless steel, adapt to each dish, enriching the culinary experience. From Lodge iron pots to Staub enameled cast iron cocottes, each piece tells a unique story in the kitchen. Architect Yoshifumi Nakamura designed an inclined cutting board and an ergonomic knife, perfect for everyday use and adapted to modern spaces. These creations combine functionality and aesthetics, transforming every gesture into a pleasure.

September Cooking Class with Yuko Watanabe: Salmon and its Flavors

At the heart of this class led by Yuko Watanabe, chef and founder of “FOOD FOR PENSÉE,” salmon is transformed with a touch of herbs and salt for an enhanced taste. The star recipe of the month? A potato salad with fried salmon, accompanied by hard-boiled eggs and a vinaigrette inspired by tartar sauce, perfect for balanced flavors and a comforting meal.

Naoko Yoshida, writer and collaborator of the ceremonial brand Shuo, also participates in this course where table art and culinary techniques come together.

Feel the fall in style

Today, as the chilly wind sets in, I pulled out my Thom Browne cardigan. Its pink pattern, delicately knitted around the chest, invites you to button up all the way to show off its charming details. With a nostalgic touch, this cardigan warms the heart as much as the body. The brand's signature grosgrain ribbon makes it even more elegant, perfect for subtle styling with a few buttons open, revealing the iconic tricolor.
