Chinese Cabbage Steak and Garlic Butter Chicken

Ingredients (for 2 people)

Chinese cabbage: 1/4 cabbage (about 500 g)

Chicken thigh (small): 1 piece (about 200 g)

Minced garlic: to taste

Salt: 1 teaspoon

Pepper: a pinch

Olive oil: 1 tablespoon

Butter: 20 g

Soy sauce: 2 teaspoons
Preparation
1. Preparation of ingredients:

Cut the Chinese cabbage in half lengthwise.

Trim excess fat from the chicken thigh, pat dry with paper towels, then season with 1 teaspoon salt and a pinch of pepper.
2. Grill the garlic, cabbage and chicken:

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over low heat. Add the minced garlic and cook until crispy. Then remove the garlic pieces and place them on a paper towel.

Place the Chinese cabbage (cut side down) and chicken (skin side down) in the pan. Grill over medium heat for 5 to 6 minutes, until golden brown.
3. Turn and finish cooking:

Turn the Chinese cabbage and chicken over, then continue cooking over medium heat for another 5 to 6 minutes, until the cabbage is tender and the chicken is cooked through.

Add the butter and soy sauce to the pan, stir to coat the ingredients well.
4. Finishes and service:

Cut the chicken into pieces and place it in a dish with the Chinese cabbage.

Sprinkle with the crispy garlic pieces to add a crunchy and aromatic touch.
