Shofuku-gama ceramic rice bowl

This rice bowl, made by Shofuku-gama in Japan, is carefully crafted and fired at a high temperature of 1300°C. On a raw ceramic base, artisans hand-paint adorable animal motifs, before a second firing and the application of a crackled glaze, giving each piece a unique aesthetic.
